Yesterday afternoon freezing precipitation began to fall.  This morning l am enjoying the beauty of this wintry gift!

Fragile Peace   (January 30, 2010)

Limbs bend down in a graceful bow
     under the beautiful burden of ice.
Each crystal sheath is fragile peace,
     frozen frames of serenity.

Psalm 104:24, "O Lord, how many are Thy works!  In wisdom Thou hast made them all; the earth is full of Thy possessions."
