Welcome to the Karecards website!  I am Karen Maiers Sudduth, a breast cancer survivor.  As you spend time on this site, I hope you will find encouragement for your journey.  Whether you are a cancer survivor or not, I am glad you are here!  In particular, I invite you to share the journey of survivorship with me by reading my blogs. I post daily, and my most recent posts are listed under Latest Blogs.  All additional blogs written to date are accessible under "Survivorship Blogs"  (Main Menu  to the right).  And if you visit "Survivorship Blogs,"  you will also be able to watch a video which includes photos of survivorship artwork, and photos of West Clinic and the Wings Labyrinth Garden, as well.  Enjoy!

In January, 2007, I began my personal journey with cancer.  Cancer in both breasts, plus a malignant lymph node, led to bilateral mastectomies followed by chemotherapy.  I felt an overwhelming urge to run and hide from my diagnosis, from surgery, and from chemotherapy. But thankfully, I ran straight to the love of God. 

In Christ's loving arms I found a glorious season of inspiration in the midst of suffering. The artwork and cards I created, as well as the blogs I write, help tell my story and reflect my heart.  Thanks for sharing the journey of survivorship with me.  Showers of encouragement!  Karen
